The Guild of the Utah Shakespearean Festival is a service organization founded to support the Festival. It does so in numerous ways.
Services to the Festival Company
- Welcome Barbecues: May 5 and Sept. 2, bring the Guild members and the Festival company together for food and fun.
Company and Guild Members free; guests, $5.
- Backstage Store: Supplies household goods to company members for a low fee.
Guild-Sponsored Events
- Curtain Call Luncheons: Fridays, July 11, 18, and 25 and August 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 and Tuesdays, July 29 and August 12 at 12 noon at the Southern Utah University Alumni House, just north and across the street from the Randall L. Jones Theatre on the corner of 300 West and Center streets. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the door. Features actors and other company members.
- Christmas in July Craft Fair: July 25 and 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Randall L. Jones Theatre lawn.
- Guild Merchandise: Costume fabric “Quiltations,” and our famous hot dogs are sold at all events. Merchandise is also available at the Randall L. Jones Theatre Globe Gift Shop.

- Cedar City Arts Festival: September 26-27, Randall L. Jones Theatre lawn; Guild merchandise and food will be available.
Membership
- The Guild donates all profits from activities and membership dues to the Festival.
- Dues are $30 for individuals and $50 for couples. Further donations are welcome.
- Guild members receive a free Backstage Tour at the annual meeting on April 23 at 6 p.m. in the Randall Theatre, as well as free barbecues with the company, and a reduced rate on Curtain Call Luncheons.
