The Guild of the Utah Shakespearean Festival
Get involved and become a vital part of the Festival!
Join the Guild!

The Guild of the Utah Shakespearean Festival is a non-profit service organization founded to serve, support, and promote the Festival. It does so in numerous ways.

Services to the Festival Company

1. Welcome Barbecues: May 18 and Aug. 31. These fun barbeques bring the Guild members and the Festival company together for a great time.
   Company and Guild Members free; guests, $5.
2. Backstage Store: The guild's "store" supplies household goods to company members for a low fee.

Guild-Sponsored Events

1. Curtain Call Luncheons: Fridays, July 10, 17, and 31 and August 7, 14, 21, and 28 and Tuesdays, July 21 and 28 and August 4 and 11 at 12 noon at the Southern Utah University Alumni House, just north and across the street from the Randall L. Jones Theatre on the corner of 300 West and Center streets. These luncheons feature informal discussions with actors and other company members. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the door. For Guild members who purchase tickets by 1 p.m. the day before the luncheon, the tickets are $12.
2. Christmas in July Arts and Crafts Fair: July 31 and Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Randall L. Jones Theatre lawn.
3. Guild Merchandise: Costume fabric “Quiltations,” and our famous hot dogs are sold at all events. "Quiltations" are also available at the Randall L. Jones Theatre Gift Shop.

Other Events

1. Cedar City Arts Festival: August 28 and 29, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Randall L. Jones Theatre lawn. Guild merchandise and food will be available.

Membership

1. The Guild donates all profits from activities and membership dues to the Festival.
2. Dues are $30 for individuals and $50 for couples. Further donations are welcome.
3. Guild members receive a free Backstage Tour and presentation at the annual meeting on April 23 at 6 p.m. in the Randall L. Jones Theatre, as well as free barbecues with the company, and a reduced rate on Curtain Call Luncheons.
