Theatre for the young and young at heart! Our resident youth theatre offers year-round
workshops for students from eight to sixteen years of age, teaching the essential building blocks for theatre performance. Classes on improvisation, collaboration, movement, and voice are integrated into producing a show for the entire community.
Summer sessions focus on Shakespearean scene work, while spring and fall sessions present fully mounted productions of Peter Pan and a Christmas production to be determined.

Enrollment Policies

Students must be sixteen years of age or older and/or have completed the tenth grade. (Shakespeare for Junior Actors and Playmakers are available for younger actors.)

High school students may receive university credit for classes taken.

An SUU concurrent enrollment form may need to be completed. The Festival Education Office will send as needed.

An emergency release form will be required for all applicants eighteen years of age or younger.

College of Professional Studies (CPS) is equivalent to Continuing Education credit. Education Department (EDUC) is graduate level credit.
