Shakespeare for Junior Actors

(Students 11-15 years of age)

Session 1: July 8–14; Session 2: July 15–21;
Session 3: July 22–28
Non-credit: $745

For all emerging thespians! Professional actors and educators lead this exciting in-residence theatre experience. Students gain invaluable acting skills through workshops including voice, stage combat, improvisation, and scene work. The week culminates in a student-acted public performance on one of the Festival's stages.

 

Tuition includes tickets to the Festival plays, chaperoned dormitory accommodations, and all meals.

Enrollment Policies

  • High school students may receive university credit for classes taken.

  • An SUU concurrent enrollment form may need to be completed. The Festival Education Office will send as needed.

  • An emergency release form will be required for all applicants eighteen years of age or younger.

  • College of Professional Studies (CPS) is equivalent to Continuing Education credit. Education Department (EDUC) is graduate level credit.
