Tech Camp for Directors

July 24–26
Two Credits: $300, EDUC (graduate/educator)

An essential class for any educator or director! Learn the secrets and acquire the tools necessary to present a play from the technical aspect. Festival technicians create a "hands-on" learning experience of designing, building, and running a production.

Special sessions include how to create a show with limited resources. Tuition includes a ticket to Les Misérables.

Enrollment Policies

  • Students must be sixteen years of age or older and/or have completed the tenth grade. (Shakespeare for Junior Actors and Playmakers are available for younger actors.)

  • High school students may receive university credit for classes taken.

  • An SUU concurrent enrollment form may need to be completed. The Festival Education Office will send as needed.

  • An emergency release form will be required for all applicants eighteen years of age or younger.

  • College of Professional Studies (CPS) is equivalent to Continuing Education credit. Education Department (EDUC) is graduate level credit.
