The Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival located in scenic southern Utah is hiring talent for the summer and fall seasons. Is your passion Lighting? Costuming? Scenery? The Festival is hiring for all technical positions for the 2013 season. Find and share your passion with us this season!

Festival staff positions are available in all constructon and backstage areas: carpentry, scenic arts, properties, lighting, hair and make-up, costumes, costume crafts, wardrobe, audio, stage, crew, stage management, and display.

Contract Information

Contracts range from eight to twenty weeks and include housing and travel allowance. All positions are salaried and vary according to experience and training.

Contract Dates

Summer Season

• Company Members Arrive: May 7, 2013
• Company Meeting: May 8, 2013
• Rehearsal and Construction runs May 8 – July 1, 2013
• Performances run June 24 – August 31, 2013

The majority of Summer full-season company members are contracted through September 2, 2013 to allow for a company strike and housing checkout.

Summer 2013 Plays: King John, Love's Labour's Lost, The Tempest, Anything Goes, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Twelve Angry Men.

Fall Season

• Company Members Arrive: August 11, 2013
• Company Meeting: August 12, 2013
• Rehearsal and Construction runs August 12 – September 21, 2013
• Performances run September 18 – October 19, 2013

The majority of Fall full-season company members are contracted through October 21, 2013 to allow for a company strike and housing checkout.

Fall 2013 Plays: Peter and the Starcatcher, Richard ii, and The Marvelous Wonderettes.
