The Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival located in scenic southern Utah is hiring talent for the summer and fall seasons. Is your passion Lighting? Costuming? Scenery? The Festival is hiring for all technical positions for the 2012 season. Find and share your passion with us this season!

Festival staff positions are available in all constructon and backstage areas: carpentry, scenic arts, properties, lighting, hair and make-up, costumes, costume crafts, wardrobe, audio, stage, crew, stage management, and display.

Contract Information

Contracts range from eight to twenty weeks and include housing and travel allowance. All positions are salaried and vary according to experience and training.

Contract Dates

Summer Season

• Company Members Arrive: May 6, 2012
• Company Meeting: May 7, 2012
• Rehearsal and Construction runs May 7 – June 30, 2012
• Performances run June 21 – September 1, 2012

The majority of Summer full-season company members are contracted through September 2, 2012 to allow for a company strike and housing checkout.

Summer 2012 Plays: The Merry Wives of Windsor, Mary Stuart, Titus Andronicus, Les Misérables, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Scapin.

Fall Season

• Company Members Arrive: August 17, 2012
• Company Meeting: August 13, 2012
• Rehearsal and Construction runs August 13 – September 22, 2012
• Performances run September 7 – October 20, 2012

The majority of Fall full-season company members are contracted through October 21, 2012 to allow for a company strike and housing checkout.

Fall 2012 Plays: Les Misérables, Hamlet, and Stones in His Pockets.
