Founder and Executive Producer Emeritus; Director of the Festival Capital Campaign

Previously at the Festival: fifty-five years at the Festival as founder, producing director, and executive producer; today major responsibility is as Festival director of the Festival Capital Campaign raising funds and awareness for the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts; the goal for the campaign is nearly $40 million, and the fruits of this campaign will be enjoyed by the Festival’s guests and artists this current summer

Earlier Theatre Projects: supported by Southern Utah University President Royden C. Braithwaite, was responsible for raising the required funds to construct the Adams Memorial Theatre from 1971 to 1977; then with President Gerald R. Sherratt, led the capital campaign in 1985–1989 for the construction of the Randall L. Jones Theatre; the current campaign for the entire center for the arts was started in 1990 and has been completed during President Scott L Wyatt’s tenure, in time for the 2016 Festival season, corresponding with the international celebration Shakespeare’s death 400 years ago
