In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Guild of the Utah Shakespeare Festival will present Gershwin’s Broadway April 19 and 20 in the Randall L. Jones Theatre.
Written, conceived, and directed by Fred C. Adams, Festival founder, and R. Scott Phillips, executive director, with musical direction by Brad Carroll, this evening of musical hits will feature the talents of a number of Festival favorites. Shows begin at 7:30 each evening.
A dessert reception with the cast and creative team will follow the performances on the stage of the Randall L. Jones Theatre. The reception is included in the price of premier seating, or can be purchased with other tickets for an additional $10 by calling the Festival ticket office at 800-PLAYTIX. Tickets to the dessert reception are not for sale online. Reception space is limited.
All proceeds from the performances are used by the guild to support the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Tickets are $18 to $50 per person and are on sale at the Festival ticket office, 800-PLAYTIX or www.bard.org.
