Dear Festival Friends,
Believe (verb): To embrace a conviction with the heart and mind, drawing certainty from personal experience or intuition
As performing artists, we Believe in theatre.
As current Festival actors, we Believe in the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
The Festival’s season campaign, Believe, invites each of us to immerse ourselves in all that the Festival has to offer––the mainstage productions, seminars, orientations, tours, The Greenshows––and to be open to the transformative power of live theatre. The Festival is widely known for producing world-class theatre, which is one reason we come here to participate in this life-affirming work.
Today we invite you to support us in believing in the Festival yesterday, today, and into its many tomorrows. Please consider donating today to continue sharing this priceless experience with Festival guests new and old.
If you have spent time at the Festival, you know there is truly something indescribable about it. It is more than the plays, the people, the theatres, and even those beloved tarts. It is the entirety of the experience, the unforgettable feeling you get when you genuinely Believe the work done here has the capacity to affect each of us in profound ways. That is the goal of the Believe Campaign––to epitomize this feeling.
We Believe in artfully telling stories that broaden our perspectives, enliven our imaginations, and give us a better quality of life.
We Believe in creating impactful theatre that reenacts and celebrates our shared humanity.
We Believe in teaching minds young and old, expanding horizons, outlooks, and understanding.
We Believe in you.
Please consider donating today.
Sincerely,
Allie Babich, Jasmine Bracey, Rhett Guter, and Melinda Parrett
