CEDAR BREAKS NATIONAL MONUMENT
A huge natural amphitheater eroded from pink cliffs just a short drive east of Cedar City, Cedar Breaks sits at over 10,000 feet above sea level and is a hiker's and shutterbug's heaven. Don't miss a chance to take one of the numerous short hikes.

DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST
The largest national forest in Utah, the Dixie straddles the divide between the Great Basin and the Colorado River and provides numerous opportunities for siteseeing, hiking, camping, fishing, and all things outdoors.
FRONTIER HOMESTEAD STATE PARK MUSEUM

During your visit to the Festival, be sure to allow time to visit SUMA. You can join a docent tour to learn more about the building and exhibits, which include gorgeous landscapes by famed local artist Jimmie Jones. Hours: Tuesdays–Saturdays, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.; Thursdays, 11 a.m.–8 p.m.

The home of the Utah Shakespeare Festival SUU boasts one of the most beautiful and active campuses around. Take a few minutes to stroll through its museums, groves, and outdoor sculpture gardens.
ZION NATIONAL PARK
Less than an hour from the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Utah's oldest national park offers paths where ancient people and pioneers walked, massive sandstone cliffs of brilliant colors, narrow slot canyons, and a unique array of plants and animals.
